Peterborough and Lindsay Stories and Headlines: What Chemong Lake looks like after 24 hours of rain.

What Chemong Lake Looks Like after 24 Hours of rain: After our warm weather and rain for the last few days I took a look around Ennismore to see the condition of the ice is on Chemong Lake, Buckhorn Lake and Pigeon Lake. The ice appears to be stable but very black. I did not have my ice auger with me so I can not provide how thick the ice is. Where there is current like around Fothergill Island it is wide open. There is still a lot of ice huts on the lake. If I had one out there I would be worried the hut is in a bunch of water then a freeze up comes. That would make the job extraordinary hard to remove at the end of February.

879 Frank Hill Rd: Don’t forget about this house guys! It is a nice bungalow that has been refinished from top to bottom with modern finishes. Great location, minutes from the 115. Nothing to do but move in. More details
