The hidden little gem on Highway 28. The Haultain Wooden Bridge

I have always wanted to stop and photograph the Eels Creeks falls in Haultain. I finally took 15 mins to stop and take those shots. I found a little more than I thought!

Reading some County of Peterborough reports I know that it has been discussed about the wooden bridge on Highway 28 in Haultain having major repairs being done. Driving on Highway 28 you would never know what you are driving over. Below is a few shots!

Snowmobile trail under the bridge

The wooden walkway is high performance. That said it gets you safely across so you don’t need to use the road.

The road pavement is laid right over the wooden slats.
