The 2017/2018 successful hockey season is officially over and the volunteers of EMHA and EGHA are gearing up for the next season. Funds are always needed for the little extras like jerseys, practice equipment, pucks, etc.
Each association has a golf tournament in the summer to help raise these extra funds. Participation is greatly appreciated but I believe the volunteers are even more appreciated.
Volunteers are the life blood of minor hockey. I see the same people giving their time over and over again. What have you done to help your child’s association be successful? Paying the registration fee for the year is not the answer.
What I am asking is to take a task. Even a small task to give a hand. We are all busy. Just a little of your time. I know some volunteers are giving hundreds of hours to their kids, your kids and my kids Association. They are no less as busy. If nothing else please help promote these golf tournaments to friends, family and we all know a golf nut!
